About The Role
As a Human Resources Assistant at Carowinds, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department's daily operations and ensuring a seamless experience for new hires, current employees, and management. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, and providing excellent customer service to team members and applicants. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Qualifications

Responsibilities
HR Assistant Employment Office:
- Support onboarding processes by guiding new hires through paperwork and orientation steps.
- Assist with recruitment tasks such as reviewing applications and communicating with candidates.
- Maintain associate records and files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with employees and applicants in a friendly, professional manner via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist with employee relations and internal communications to foster a positive work environment.
- Support HR functions and park operations as needed to ensure smooth workflows.
HR Assistant OTC
- Assist with scheduling updates, reviewing timekeeping records, and performing general administrative tasks.
- Help maintain HR systems, databases, and inventory, including employee items and supplies.
- Distribute associate perks and paychecks accurately and efficiently.
- Issue, sell, and distribute employee items such as uniforms and name tags to ensure proper presentation and readiness.
- Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards, including answering questions, giving directions, and initiating guest interactions.
- Support all areas of Human Resources and park operations as needed to ensure a cohesive work environment.
