Role Description This is a part-time, remote Junior Data Analyst role supporting LinkedIn Local Cameroon’s planning and execution activities. The Junior Data Analyst will collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including registration platforms, surveys, and engagement tools. The role includes building simple dashboards and reports to track key metrics such as registrations, attendance, participant demographics, and engagement trends. The Junior Data Analyst will assist in analyzing campaign performance, identifying insights to guide outreach, marketing, and program decisions. Day-to-day tasks also involve supporting data quality checks, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with the organizing team to provide clear, data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret event and engagement data effectively.
• Basic understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling to support reporting, trend analysis, and simple forecasting.
• Clear and concise Communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders in written and verbal formats.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and basic data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Interest in professional networking, events, or community-building initiatives; prior experience with LinkedIn is an advantage.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
